The four rooms with private bathroom are located at the upper floor at the street level. Each room has its own characteristics, being versatile to accommodate different needs. All rooms are equipped pocket-spring mattresses and spaces for clothes and luggage, and contain with bed linen and towels.
Room 1
This is the biggest room, with possibility for a sitting area or an extra bed. In the original building the kitchen was located here, so details are still visible, such as the chimney and the old stone sink built in into the wall. The tall windows opening to the balcony used to be the secondary entrance of the house.
Room 2
Room 2 accommodates two persons either on a double bed to two single beds. The room contains various repurposed objects found in the basement of the original building: the sliding bathroom doors, the decorative frames on the wall and the chairs used as bedside tables.
Room 3
This room has a bit of a weird shape. Almost none of the walls of the building are straight, which is most noticeable in this room. The room has a great view of the garden, and gets the morning sun. It accommodates two persons comfortably on a double bed. Part of the wall has been left open to expose the stone walls. The bathroom still contains the original toilet flush, and the towel hooks are made of old power switches and outlets.
Room 4
Room 4 accommodates two persons in a double bed. As in other parts of the house, also in this room can pieces of history be found: The bed head is made of old metal bed frames, the towel hooks in the bathroom were in fact window locks and the toilet paper holder used to be a keyhole doorlock.
